Sea Foreshore & River Protection

Our services provide meticulously designed and expertly constructed solutions to protect coastal and riverine areas from erosion, flooding, and other environmental impacts. Using Trimble 3D GPS machine control ensures precise placement of materials to provide effective protection. Advanced engineering solutions and ongoing maintenance, ensures the integrity, functionality and long-term resilience of these protective structures.

Coastal Foreshore Protection

  • Sea Walls: We build robust sea walls using durable materials to shield coastal areas from the erosive forces of tides and storms. Our sea walls are engineered to withstand harsh marine conditions and provide long-lasting protection.
  • Groynes: Our construction of groynes, helps manage scouring and prevent coastal erosion. These structures work in tandem with sea walls to stabilise beaches and shorelines.
  • Granite Rock Usage: We use high-quality granite rock for its strength and durability, ensuring that the structures we build can withstand the challenging conditions of coastal environments.

Riverbank Protection

  • Floodwalls: We construct floodwalls to protect infrastructure and adjacent land areas. These barriers are designed to hold back floodwaters and prevent damage to property and infrastructure.
  • Riprap: Our use of riprap by placing large stones along riverbanks, helps absorb and deflect the energy of flowing water, reducing erosion and stabilising the river’s edge.
  • River Training Works: We implement river training works to direct and control river flow, reducing the risk of erosion and flooding. These works are often constructed using granite rock for enhanced durability and effectiveness.

Ongoing Maintenance

  • Regular Inspections: We provide ongoing maintenance and inspections to ensure that protective structures remain effective and in good condition over time.
  • Repairs and Upgrades: Our team is equipped to handle necessary repairs and upgrades to address wear and tear, ensuring continued protection against environmental impacts.
