Contract: GDC 2010-11-10 Ruby Creek Realignment

Client: Grey District Council

Description: The work involves the area wide pavement treatment of approx. 700m of Taylorville – Blackball Road at Ruby Creek. Contract works consists of earthworks involving lowering, realignment, widening of the existing formation, full pavement reconstruction, followed by first coat sealing and associated pavement markings. Other work includes installation of subsoil drains and a concrete dish channel.

Contract: GDC 2009-10-24 Atarau Road Reconstruction – Moores Creek to Curtains Hill

Client: Grey District Council

Description: The work involves the area wide pavement treatment of approx. 1500m of Atarau Road. Work consists of earthworks involving realignment and widening to existing formation. Full pavement reconstruction including dig out repairs followed by first coat sealing and associated pavement markings. Other work includes culvert extensions and replacements.

Contract: Waimakariri Flood Protection Project

Client: Environment Canterbury

Contract Period: November 2010 – March 2011

Description: Raising and upgrading sections of the secondary stopbanks between Dickeys Road and Devondale in Belfast, Christchurch and associated works which include road construction, construction of roads, walkways and retaining walls. Loading, carting and placement of approx. 7,500m3 of graded rock to design profile

Contract: AHL01 Amethyst Hydro Access Road

Client: Mitton Electronet / Downer EDi Works

Contract Period: June – September 2010

Description: Create new access road to the tunnel portal site. Cut to waste of more than 40,000m3, imported river run, supply and lay AP65 and M4 pavement layers. Environmental controls were put in place to minimise disturbances.

The work consists of earthworks involving realignment and widening to existing formation. Full pavement reconstruction including dig out repairs followed by first coat sealing and associated pavement markings. Other work includes culvert extensions and replacements. Environmental controls were put in place to minimise disturbances.

Contract: R2009/18 – Greymouth Floodwall Upgrade

Client: West Coast Regional Council

Contract Period: February – June 2010

Description: Upgrade existing gravel stop-banks, construct new sections of gravel stop-banks, construct new sub-base – base course pavement, sealing, supply and placement of rock protection, upgrade of moveable concrete floodwalls, construct new section of concrete floodwall, upgrade of floodgate raising mechanisms, construct new culvert structures, install a new water main and upgrade of existing storm water infrastructure.
